PART TWO: LIFESTYLE TURN ONS AND TURN OFFS

Being aware of which lifestyle characteristics are likely to generate a rejection or approval by potential online mates is of key importance to your online dating success. We obviously want to know what online daters look for in profiles and personals when selecting their matches. Many of the responses recieved from the respondents of the survey referenced in Part One of this Series may very well surprise you! Consider the following results of the survey and associated tips and suggestions for adult online dating success.

Beware The Lifestyle Turn Offs!

By a significant margin, the two major lifestyle turn offs for online daters were having children and/or smoking. Suprisingly, being a parent is the greatest lifestyle turnoff at thirty-three percent, while smoking came in at twenty-two. These two were distantly followed by political position, religous affiliation, education level (or lack thereof), and a propensity for alcohol use, each of which were  in a virtual "dead heat" in terms of soliciting rejection at about 8-10% significance.

What About Lifestyle Turn Ons?

Despite the clear presence of distinct trends and preferences for lifestyle turn offs, the report found no significant trends in terms of lifestyle turn ons. It seems that lifestyle turns ons are so diverse and varied that a list of popular or trendy lifestyle turn ons simply cannot be defined with any meaningful relevance. What about money you say? Can't money buy you love? Perhaps in a house of ill-repute, but not apparently, on an internet online dating service. Income level was consistently ranked as a least relevant concern by those online daters responding to the survey.
