Believe it or not, senior dating is something that is going on very actively nowadays.

You see, with advances in modern medicine and health care - people are living much longer and being able to treat things that weren't treatable say, 10 or 20 or 30 years ago. This, combined with an also large percentage of widows and widowers and growing volatility of relationships, people are dating even later into their life nowadays.

But senior dating isn't that taboo as we think it is. Is it wrong for someone to seek companionship, even if it is platonic in nature? Many seniors just want to have that companion and love again that they had in their relationships. And even those that want more - a romantic side to it as well - it is perfectly fine in today's world where we have fixes for nearly any problem that old age can swing at us.

So, I say go seniors and go senior dating. When I get later in age, I am going to do some *really* crazy stuff - I mean, what have you got to lose?
