My husband is actually nineteen years older than me. He looks at least ten years younger than his real age and he’s full of fun. Consequently I don’t usually think about the difference in our ages. Other people notice it more than we do. However, I don’t care what other people think. Other peoples’ prejudices are their problem, not mine.
The only time the age gap between my husband and I bothers me is when I consider the future. In all likelihood, I will outlive my husband.
